Welcome to Vassa. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website and services. By placing an order or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use our services.

1. Business Information

Vassa is a home furniture e-commerce store based in the United Arab Emirates.

2. Eligibility & Access

  • Our services are available to consumers within the UAE only.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to purchase from us.
  • Account registration is not required to place an order.

3. Products & Services

  • We sell physical home furniture products, primarily sofas.
  • Product descriptions, images, and specifications are provided for clarity, but minor variations may occur.
  • Customers may post reviews and comments, provided they comply with our guidelines (see Section 6).

4. Payments & Fees

  • Payments are one-time per order.
  • We accept credit/debit cards and installment payments via Tabby.
  • All payments must be made in AED.
  • Refunds and cancellations are subject to our Return & Refund Policy, available on our website.

5. Intellectual Property

  • All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and designs, is the property of Vassa and may not be copied, modified, or used without prior written consent.
  • By posting reviews or other content, you grant Vassa a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and share your content for marketing and operational purposes.

6. User Obligations & Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Engage in illegal activities, fraud, hacking, or spamming.
  • Post defamatory, abusive, or misleading content.
  • Infringe on third-party intellectual property rights.

We reserve the right to remove content or restrict access if these Terms are violated.

7. Privacy & Data

  • We collect limited personal data necessary to process and deliver orders (e.g., name, contact details, address, payment info).
  • Data will be handled in accordance with UAE data protection laws.

8. Warranty & Liability

  • The frame of the sofa is protected by a lifetime warranty.
  • Cushions and covers carry a one-year warranty covering manufacturing defects, beginning from the delivery date.
  • The warranty is valid only for the original owner and is non-transferable.
  • The warranty does not cover:
    Normal wear and tear.
    Outdoor use.
    Misuse, abuse, or neglect.
    Incorrect assembly or modifications not authorized by Vassa.

Except as expressly stated in this warranty, all other warranties, conditions, or guarantees are excluded to the maximum extent permitted by UAE law.

9. Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
  • Disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of the UAE.
  • Claims must be brought individually and not as part of a class action.

10. Other Terms

  • Updates: We may update these Terms at any time. Updates will be effective upon posting on our website.
  • Notices: Users will be notified via website announcements or email.
  • Force Majeure: We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control.
  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
